Granite State Escape – Manchester NH
The Granite State Escape facility in Manchester, NH is equipped with three different rooms. There is the Vintage Circus, Defuse the Bomb, and What Happened in ManchVegas. Each of these rooms and each games gives the people exactly 60 minutes to try their best to escape. If there is difficulty, the staff will be on hand to lend people a clue if they want one, but also to keep the people on track throughout the 60 minutes. If quick enough, people may even make it onto the facility’s leaderboard. Each of the three rooms has a unique set of puzzles that will require some out of the box thinking. All clues and hints inside the room are there to help solve the puzzles and escape before the time runs out. All of the rooms are designed for a variety of skill sets and teamwork is often the best chance of being able to escape. The Vintage Circus is able to hold 5-12 people in the room, while Defuse the Bomb is only able to hold 4-6 people, and What Happened in ManchVegas holds 6-10 people.
This facility also has an event space that can be used for people to have their next party or corporate event before and/or after escaping. This space holds two televisions for presentations and slideshows as well as tables and chairs to hold 40+ people. People are allowed to bring their own food or work with the facility to arrange a delivery. This space costs $125 for the first hour and $50 for each additional hour.
For each room, there is a flat rate of $25 per person. It is not required to book a whole room, but if someone doesn’t then it will be likely that the group will be paired with another group of other participants. If people don’t want other participants joining the party, then the only way to ensure that is by booking the entire room. Although it is not required to book in advance, it is highly recommended as some rooms book out weeks in advance. The facility does ask that all participants be at least 15 years old. However if someone is under the age of 15, then a parent or guardian must be present and they recommend reserving the entire room. All of the games proceed at their scheduled time, but they ask to arrive 15 minutes in advance to hear the required instructions. If a participant arrives later than their scheduled time, they will not be allowed in. Cell phones and purses are allowed within the rooms, but the facility asks that no pictures or videos are taken once inside. Gift certificates are also able to be purchased for 2, 4, 6, or 10 people.
This facility also has a portable escape room built for the next group outing or even a place of business. It is known as the Fallout Shelter and is able to provide entertainment for up to 100+ people in a day as this room only takes around 5-15 minutes.
