Isles of Shoals Mail Boat

Ride the Mail Boat Shining Star to the Isles of Shoals for an unforgettable trip to a world apart.

This insider’s experience of the Isles of Shoals is among the Seacoast’s best-kept cruising secrets.

Ride with us on summer weekday mornings at 7:45 am from Pepperrell Cove in Kittery Point for a three-hour trip to Star Island along with staff, guests, food, freight, and of course, the mail. Schedule allows approximately 45 minutes to explore the island. Fare for these trips is $30 per person. Children 12 and under ride for free.

Our Tuesday afternoon cruise departs Kittery Point at 1:15 and returns at about 6:00 pm. This trip allows an extended period to explore Star Island or to take a tour of nearby Appledore Island with a stop for seal watching off the Duck Island ledges on the way back. Fare for Tuesday trips is $40 adult, $20 children 12 and under.

Regular Mail Boat schedule applies from June 20 through Labor Day.

Please call us for off-season schedule. We run to Star Island from April through October. Guests are welcome on most trips with prior reservations.
