Sweet Beet Market is committed to local, sourcing produce, meat, dairy, and eggs from 30 producers within a 30-mile radius of our storefront. Open all year long, we offer access to New Hampshire agriculture and production in one convenient and charming location. Our in-house kitchen and bakery regularly produces fresh baked baguettes, sourdough boules, and various other mouthwatering breads. We also responsibly source other staples like seafood, grains, pastas, sauces, coffee, teas, immune boosters, seasonings, and condiments, to round out our offerings. In addition to food, we have sustainable home goods, locally made body care items, unique handcrafted jewelry, books that inspire and inform, and other such beautiful things.
Sweet Beet is one branch of the Kearsarge Food Hub, a nonprofit organization designed to reinvigorate our community around a restorative local food system. We are operated by the original founders and have a passion for health and wellness through food and community. Our goal at Sweet Beet Market is greater access to and education about local food. As such, we offer cooking tips, recipes, and informative conversation, as well as source identification and thorough descriptions for each item.
In addition to the market, our team operates Sweet Beet Farm, our own growing operation and one contributing producer to Sweet Beet Market, and Sweet Beet Kitchen & Bakery. We also run educational programming and host community events.
