Pittsburg-Clarksville Covered Bridge (aka Bacon Covered Bridge) is located on Bacon Rd in Pittsburg NH and Clarksville NH and connects the two New Hampshire towns crossing over the Connecticut River.
Pittsburg-Clarksville Covered Bridge was built in 1876 and is listed in the World Guide of Covered Bridges (WGCB), number 29-04-03 and is New Hampshire covered bridge #34.
This NH Covered Bridge is the northernmost covered bridge over the Connecticut River in NH. There were 7 covered bridges in Pittsburg NH and today, the Pittsburg-Clarksville Bridge is one of the remaining 3 covered bridges left in Pittsburg New Hampshire.
The Pittsburg-Clarksville Covered Bridge was closed to vehicles in 1981.
