Passaconaway Campground: Kancamagus Camping in NH

Passaconaway Campground

Passaconaway Campground is located along the Kancamagus Highway in NH. Camp sites are first come, first serve. Be sure to plan ahead in case all sites are filled. Anytime you plan to camp at one of the Kancamagus campgrounds you will want to have a solid back up plan in place before heading out. Calling the Saco Ranger Station to hear if the campgrounds have reported being full is helpful but that could change by the time you arrive. Be sure to have a list of other nearby campgrounds that have openings before you go. The majority of the Kancamagus Highway has no cell phone service so researching other campgrounds that have openings can be difficult once you’re at the Kanc.
