Happy Corner Covered Bridge is located on Hill-Danforth Rd in Pittsburg NH and crosses Perry Stream.
Happy Corner Covered Bridge was built in the early to mid 1800’s and is listed in the World Guide of Covered Bridges (WGCB) number 29-040-01 and is New Hampshire covered bridge #35. Happy Corner Bridge is one of the oldest covered bridges in New Hampshire.
The Happy Corner Covered Bridge got it’s name from a neighbor of the bridge, an older gentleman that would play music and sing with local townspeople at his home there. They named these frequent parties “Happy Time” and eventually the area was known as “Happy Corner.” And of coarse, the bridge being built there was known as “the bridge at happy corner.”
