Whittier Covered Bridge is located on Nudd St in West Ossipee, NH and crosses the Bearcamp River. Best access is to enter Nudd Rd at the corner of Hobbs Rd and Nudd Rd.
Whittier Covered bridge was built in the 1870’s and is listed in the World Guide of Covered bridge, number 29-02-08, and is New Hampshire covered bridge #46.
Whittier Covered Bridge was last restored in 1982 by Milton Graton and Sons. Milton Graton and Sons does many of the covered bridge restorations in New Hampshire.
On July 2, 2008 the Whittier Covered Bridge in West Ossipee NH was removed from it’s abutments and placed on of Nudd St where it remains today.
