Railroad Covered Bridge (Aka Contoocook Railroad Covered Bridge) is located next to Rt. 103 in Contoocook, NH and crosses the Contoocook River near Hopkinton NH.
Railroad Covered Bridge was built in 1889 and is listed in the World Guide of Covered Bridges (WGCB), number 29-07-07
Railroad Covered Bridge in Contoocook was built for use by the Concord and Claremont Railroad, It is now claimed to be the oldest covered railroad bridge still in existence in the United States.
