Want the best Thai food in New Hampshire? Ubon Thai 2 Go in Goffstown NH is a MUST for anyone looking for authentic, quality Thai food!
Never had Thai food before? This is why many people don’t try something new, they’re afraid they won’t know what to order, or that they won’t like it. If you like Chinese food, but don’t like that yucky feeling afterwards, then trying Thai food will be life changing! Below are the best recommendations for your first time Thai food adventure:
Main dishes:
- Pad Thai (chicken, beef, shrimp, pork, vegan, or vegetable)
- Drunken Noodles (chicken, beef, shrimp, pork, or vegetable. Note: wide noodle option is most popular)
Sides:
- Crab Rangoon
- Fried Rice
- Chicken Fingers
The biggest differences between Ubon Thai and other NH Thai restaurants is that there is a mix of Americans and Asians here which works quite well when ordering, but also knowing you’re getting authentic Thai food. This is also one of the cleanest restaurants you will find anywhere in New Hampshire. The kitchen is fully cleaned at the end of each day. Also, the day they are closed is also the day they drive to Boston to be sure they receive only the best, and authentic ingredients that cannot be found locally. Most importantly is the rice noodles! Many Thai restaurants don’t take the time or want the added expense of real rice noodles.
Important to note: When ordering they will ask you what spice level you want. If you don’t like spicy food you can order Mild, or tell them “No Spice” if you’re really sensitive to spicy foods – If you like hot and spicy, “Medium” is fairly hot but you don’t usually need to have multiple drinks nearby. On the other hand, the “Hot” spice level you might want to keep a few drinks by you. If you’re feeling adventurous, you can order “Thai Hot” which will set your mouth on fire more than the “Hot” spice level. If nothing is ever too hot for you, there is a secret way to get something even hotter than that, its not on the menu, but the keyword when they ask you is “Kill Em” – yes, it really is a thing. You might get a chuckle from the person taking the order but only because not many people know to order it this way. Also, keep in mind the Drunken Noodle tends to be slightly spicier and hotter than the Pad Thai

1 Question, Comment, or Review on “Best Thai Food in NH: Ubon Thai 2 Go in Goffstown”
We were given a tour of this restaurant, including the kitchen. This place is spotless and the food is excellent! They do not use MSG so the food is definitely healthier than Chinese food. We expected the lack of MSG to make it not as good as Chinese food but found it was way better than any Chinese food we have ever had. Can’t recommend Ubon Thai enough! You won’t be disappointed!
