Children's Museum of New Hampshire in Dover NH

The Children’s Museum of NH is located in Dover NH. The Children’s Museum is a lot of fun, even for adults. They have a lot of great hands-on exhibits.

A popular exhibit includes Dino Detective where you get to play the role of Paleontologist for a while. First you get to dig for fossils in the sand and then you can examine them.

First Impressions is another fun exhibit. You can make impressions of your face and hands on the five foot pin screen.

Play it Cool is an exhibit where you can move a ball with your mind into your opponents goal. You wear an electrode headband which measures Alpha and Theta brainwaves which are the brainwaves of relaxation. Whoever stays the most relaxed wins the game. If you have kids you might want to take this thing home with you but unfortunately the only way to get your kids to relax using Play it Cool is by going to the Children’s Museum of NH.

There are anywhere from 15-20 exhibits at the Children’s Museum at any one time. They also offer camps, classes, parties and you can even rent the Children’s Museum for exclusive use for you and your guests.
