I took my 1st dinner cruise on the Mt Washington in august of 2019.The food and crew were awsome BUT We specifically booked the rock and roll cruise. It turned into a mad house. There was a class reunion on the upper deck which came down and was allowed to take over early in the evening and the DJ played all their request which was No rock and roll music. All of that younger group took over the dance floor leaving it so crowded that none of us who booked the rock and roll cruise to do nothing but sit and watch. Not at all what we expected.ARE ALL CRUISES LIKE THAT?? If so count us out! Dont think I would do it again.

Must have been some time ago you were on this cruise as the MS Mount Washington has been docked for several years for refitting now. They have replaced it with a far smaller craft called the Winnipesaukee Spirit. Who knows when/if the Mount will be cruising the lake again.

Just a clarification on new engines 2010 the new Caterpillars replaced two 8 cyclinder inline Enterprise engines installed in 1946 ( they were new) replaced the steam boilers and engines that were removed for war service and the ship was out of service til the replacement engines were installed by General. Ship and Engine works of E. Boston.
