Beecher Cascade and Pearl Cascade:
Beacher and Pearl Cascades are a fun little hike at just over half a mile and only a 254′ elevation gain from the trailhead. At the end of the hike on the Cascade Loop Trail you are rewarded with not one, but two waterfalls called Beacher Cascade, and Pearl Cascade. Beacher Cascade has a 25 foot total drop. Pearl Cascade has a 20 foot total drop.

Directions to trail location: Rt. 302 in Carroll. The hiking trail begins behind the Crawford Depot which is an old train station still in use as a scenic railroad (N 44° 13.083′ | W 071° 24.689′ | elevation 1,893′). The Crawford Depot is not well marked, it does have a sign that reads “Crawford” on the side of the building. This is also the trailhead for Mt. Willard Trail, Cascade Loop, A-Z Trail, Mt. Avalon, and Willey Range Trail. Across Rt. 302 from the trailhead is Saco Lake, which is very close to the road. The Crawford Depot is next to the Appalachian Mountain Club (see pictures). you may park at the Crawford depot, cross the tracks behind the depot to the Avalon trail head (use caution, active railroad). Follow signs for the Cascade Loop. Both Beecher Cascade and Pearl Cascade will be found along this trail.
