Livermore Falls, Campton NH
Livermore Falls in Campton New Hampshire is a waterfall on the Pemigewasset River with a 25′ total waterfall drop. Livermore Falls is on the Plymouth NH town line but is indeed in Campton NH. Check the old photo below incorrectly depicting Livermore Falls as being in Plymouth NH.
Livermore Falls Directions: Take exit 27 on I-93 in Campton, NH. Heading east on Blair Rd to Rt. 3. Take an immediate right onto Rt.3. Stay on Rt. 3 for just over 2 miles. On the left side of the road is a dirt parking area (shown in photos below). Park here and walk to Livermore Falls. Also note that the map below we marked the parking area. Switch the map to Satellite view to see the falls and note the location in relation to the nearby parking area.
Hiking to Livermore Falls: This is a short, easy hike at only 1/10 of a mile on a well beaten down pathway. From the parking area take the gravel path, onto the dirt trail, then cross the railroad tracks. You will hear the flow of the waterfall if the water flow is decent. Across the tracks and a bit to the left follow the path along the fence line. Continue on the path for the best view of the waterfall. The area will open up into a beach-like area.
Livermore Falls has also been a favorite swimming area as there is a sandy beach area. We must warn though that if you venture too far away from the beach area you will get caught in the swift currents of the Pemigewasset River! Use extreme caution when swimming here.
Just North of Livermore Falls is Blair Covered Bridge, which also makes another great stop while you’re in the area.

Bought a ticket online for parking and then the gate to the parking lot was closed! Drove over from MA- would not recommend trusting the online booking process!
Not sure I understand, has something changed about this waterfall location parking other than what we posted?
