Just a theory but maybe the small stones next to them were their wives and they didn’t have enough stone to make that many? I wish we could know what actually happened 🙁

Beware , the forest surrounding the cemetery has some interdimentional ripple occurrences that probably is the only reason for the hauntings , things cross over , in some of this occurrences the phenomenon is harmless and neutral in others the things that cross over see you as prey and will follow you , if you feel physically drained or have instincts kick in leave immediately , if your electronics fail or batteries drain leave immediately .
Just south of here Leominster state Forest seems to be an even bigger area for such phenomenons and even more south east the Bridgewater triangle, they are related to similar phenomenons for some unknown reasons , things from other places cross over and they have their agenda , it is wise to be aware .
Such places exist around the world , almost like “weaker” spots on the fabric of time and space.

Didja happen to see the damage done to the blue lady’s stone and think that publishing a photo of it will lead to more idiotic damage to this historical marker?

Never would we think legally publishing a photo of anything would lead to someone illegally damaging a piece of history. You’re right, that would be idiotic, and also cowardly and immature, not to mention a class B felony in the state of New Hampshire. People are responsible for their own actions, which is something a lot of people forget about these days. Everyone is looking to blame someone else for their own wrongful behavior. We would NEVER endorse vandalizing anything. If we thought for a minute that publishing a photo of a place would lead to such a crime then we would not put any photos on our website.

Absolutely perfect response! Why should we continue shrinking our world out of fear of OTHER people’s actions?

Thank you! And you’re right, we shouldn’t have to change the good things in life in order to prevent someone from possibly committing an illegal act. Sort of like saying we should close all banks to prevent bank robberies. Shut down all roads to speeding. Thats not a world I want to live in!

Right? Personally I appreciate the fact that you published this article as my Paranormal research team is planning on doing an investigation there in the very near future. Your article was one of the resources i tapped for preliminary research so a big “Thank you!” Goes out to you all…..

That’s awesome!! And, exactly the reason we do what we do! The site is meant to bring people to the location before they actually get there. Happy you got something from the article! Do come back and let everyone know how it goes. Personally I have a lot of interest in this subject so its great hearing the results. You can read about an investigation I was a part of here: https://nhtourguide.com/wp/places/epsom/little-red-schoolhouse-in-epsom-the-paranormal-investigation-2/

So, it ended up being just myself and my wife as our teammates had conflicting obligations. But we did get EMF spikes, audio communication ( via the Ovilus and the VOX) and even had a few “map ins” on our lesser SLS camera. If anyone is interested in seeing the highlights, here’s a link to the video…

Watched the video, that’s pretty cool you had a lot of tools with you. You might want to contact the town and ask permission to be there after dusk. Sometimes a town will grant permission knowing who it is that will be there. The only obstacle may be the abutting land owner who is very close by.

                  Do your investigations elsewhere.

These creeps look for whatever they want to see. Me, personally, I am angry because my Mother and beloved Step-father(and his family) are buried there, and they want to make this beautiful, small cemetery a spectacle. I’m ANGRY!

    3. Jeffrey Landry

My wife and I just visited the cemetery, we believe that the smaller stones were from their original place of death. So for example, child dies and is buried on the land of their home, which was normal for the times.
      Just a theory.

It wasn’t a sight seeing tour for us, my wife’s family is buried here.
        Just fyi

  • Norma Furber

My Mom and Step-dad (and his family) are buried here. I hope to be laid to rest here, so stop making this cemetery a sight-seeing place. It’s disgusting.

  • Norma Furber

It should be outlawed for creeps making a spectacle of someone’s loved ones resting place!!

Visiting graveyards has been something people have done ever since graveyards… People do stone rubbings, etc. This isn’t something new.

      1. Krystal

I agree. I understand its a sacred place for loved ones who passed on, but never visiting them, sight see or doing things like rubbing certain graves that say to give good luck or what not isn’t that being forgotten? I rather have my family and people visit me, even if its just sight seeing. People jog and take walk through cemeteries too, so people that are butthurt about people visiting or site see at graves need to grow up. People do it all the time.

The smaller stones are likely footstones that accompanied the headstones. I’m not sure the exact reason but in historic cemeteries the footstones are sometimes moved next to the headstone (possibly for preservation, stones often sink into the ground over time and perhaps the smaller footstones could be more easily lost if not placed against their associated headstone)
