  • Gilmanton, Barnstead and Pittsfield Trails

Trails are nice in Gilmanton, Barnstead and Pittsfield. Pittsfieod trails were groomed recently. Gilmanton trails were rough and bumpy. Just needs to be groomed. Corr. 17 was really bumpy... again, just needs to be groomed from the weekend traffic on the trails.

There was a large water bar on 17 in Gilmanton. We stopped and pushed a ton of snow from the hillside into the water bar since it is going to be so cold tonight. That should freeze it up good. Our trail work contribution it done for the day

We met a few from the Gilmanton Snowmobile club on the trail from Upper Suncook Lake trimming some low hangiing pines on the trail that were slumping from all the snow. On the way back they were done clearing it and it is much nicer.

We also met a NH Fish & Game officer on corr. 17 in Pittsfield as well as 3 deer on the trail in Gilmanton
