  • Local Tips for NH Ski Areas

NH is all about skiing and skiing and more skiing. So with all the skiing that goes on in the winter here, there has to be a tip or two that has been collected over the years from the ski areas.

Black Mountain has a special for $129 where two adult and two kids can ski all day long on weekends and holidays.

Alot of people seem to like Bretton Woods because they don't have a lot of wind gusts like the other ski areas do.

If you want a jump start on your day of skiing, head to Cannon Mountain because they open 15 minutes before the other areas do on weekends and holidays.

If it is a busy day at Cranmore, head to the East Bowl doublel chair since that is a run not many people head to.

Gunstock stays open until 10pm weekends and holidays so you can ski and then take a break and enjoy the Lakes Region area. They have great restaurants, outlet shopping and of course, Funspot!

Loon Mountain has a quite area that was added a few years ago called South Peak. You can start your day there with no lines and a peaceful terrain. Then to be connected to the rest of the ski area, jump on the quad chairlift.

McIntyre holds weekday skiing lessons. McIntyre has PSIA certified instructors to help with very few people on the slopes.
