Seacoast Segway Tours is the coolest way to see the oldest town in NH, Portsmouth. They provided guided tours on a Segway PT provided by Seacoast Segway Tours. The tours begin at the John Paul Jones House which is owned by the Portsmouth Historical Society. From there, you can choose a one hour tour, a two hour tour or a three hour tour.

For the one or two hour tours, you have a choice of North End tours or South End tours. Both of these do not have much commentary and are ideal for those who have never taken a tour on a Segway before, people who want to do something unique with guests from out of state or those who want to concentrate on the sights and surroundings instead of the history.

The two hour tour will handle both the North End and the South End. You can choose either the Historic Homes and City Tour or the Historic City and Waterfront Tour. These two tours are perfect those who love learning about the history of the town, those who love riding Segways and those who want to take in everything about Portsmouth.

There are a few things you need to know before taking a Segway tour. You need to be at least age 14 and must weight between 100 and 250 pounds. Before you start out on the tour, you will be given basic instructions on how to use a Segway. It is recommended that you wear comfortable clothing, wear sunglasses and bring a water bottle. Helmets are required and will be provided.

The cost of the tour is $45 per rider for the one hour tour, $75 per rider for the two hour tour and $100 per rider for the three hour tour.
