Favorite NH Waterfalls
We have been hiking to many of the waterfalls in New Hampshire recently. Mostly to just hang out and take some photos. Some of the waterfalls we have been finding are really cool! I don't think that many people here in NH realize just how nice (and accessible) some of these waterfalls really are.
One of our favorites so far is Glen Ellis Falls just South of the Mt. Washington Auto Road on Rt. 16. It's a very short walk from the parking area and the trail is well maintained. Spring run off makes this one rumble and a lot of water flows here, even during dry times!
Another waterfall we really enjoyed was Ripley Falls on Rt. 302 in Crawford Notch. That hike was a bit different, not a well maintain trail, but it was well travelled and we met several people along the trail to the falls. This waterfall is best after it rains. We went there during the dry summer and it was just a trickle, but after a lot of rain it had much better flow.
Will post again after we find another gem waterfall.

another nice waterfall is areuthsa falls, but it is quite the hike. glen ellis is the best waterfall for the shortest hike, more like a short stroll.
